Alone's melody is something I created when I was maybe 10 years old with a big fancy keyboard. Loaded with thousands of sounds, one day I discovered one that drove me to write one of the most depressing pieces of melody I've ever surprised myself with.
Writing many doodads as a kid on our fancy keyboard, few I kept close to my heart, knowing I would someday transform a remembered melody into a composition of sorts. With this one, I did.
Alone is the cherry on top. It is the diamond on the ring. It is the chocolate chip that made a regular cookie into something complete and whole and talented.
Without this attached on the end of LIMBO, it wouldn't be much of anything. And I'm proud that I made the decision to link it up. With Lost at Sea no less. What a flawless combination, in my opinion.
I am so proud of what I've accomplished with this EP. So very proud to have captured choice emotions in the way I feel I did.
And I hope the world enjoys my work as much I enjoyed making it.
After listening to this album on soundcloud, I just had to download it in flac to get the full listening experience. The subtle details and unique melodies in this record makes it easily one of my all time favourites. I love listening to this both during the day, and when falling asleep. Raitis Rūsiņš Kriķis
